This is fucked. [Nov. 4th, 2009|02:20 pm]

Seriously, don't watch this if you are easily disturbed.

If features animated organs of a dog, sustained mechanically, circa 1940 in Russia.

Most disturbing and animated severed head.

So I am going to start keeping a dev diary. [Nov. 4th, 2009|01:55 am]

stage1.1, originally uploaded by wonderground.

First file for my Tesla coil interrupter / modulator.

This will be approximately 1/3 of the final circuit.

This is consisted of a zero crossing a-d converter and a 555 utilized as a PWM

Credit is given to Eastern Voltage Research.

I am taking a robust project of theirs and slimming it down for my needs.

Using a Micro controller, transducer, transistors, some script I got, a DVD spindle cover, cap to a air mattress, some bits of metal, hotglue, and other crudely machined things I built a device that attaches to the deadbolt to of my house and opens when you knock a pattern into it.

The pattern can be recorded and changed by hitting a button, currently it is shave and a haircut, two bits.

The alternate is the first 20 knocks of Take On Me.

I could not be using time I should be spending on homework and electronics degree better.

Small 21 run Friday.

Larger one Saturday, bring whoever.

Party for my roomie's birthday on wednesday, and mine as well I guess, bring whoever, but for all the non 21 year olds, Caiti, Lisa, Allie, Laura, David, James etc. you know who you are come up for this one. I may be able to provide rides for like three people. But folks have cars, I have eight couches, one of them folds out, I make a bed on my floor that sleeps four and I have a sleeping pad.

Your comfort is ensured.

Spead the word.

Can't sleep, need to wake up at 7 and walk 45 blocks to school...

I never have insomnia this bad, any other night I would entertain it.

Probably only strike when I have shit to do.

I found the Pug running around my room earlier today.

It smelt like poo I was suspicious but could not find any.

Twenty minutes ago I decide to go to sleep and pull my blanked off the floor, a huge gooey turd lands on my foot and the mattress cover.

How can something so little poop so big.

Eureka! [Jun. 28th, 2009|11:19 pm]
http://stevehv.4hv.org/SSTC5/miniSSTCfnlsch.JPG

Finally found the schematic I will be using.

...Now to develop a control circuit to modulate the output frequency, and a pulse bandwidth controller all to be driven by a computer output.

That second part is a lot of work, far more complex then the main circuit.
